Another best selling game of the last November of 2008. Gears Of War is set world of Seran beautiful and dangerous. You come too the world in the middle of a great war between the Locust (a group of under ground dwelling gun wheedling orc like creators that you know very little about) and the human ( who are just starting to recover from a great world war that left most of the planet in ruins but did leave the the humans under one flag). That's the basic story. This is a piece of concept art for the for the second game in the series. As you can see they use a lot deep reds and cool grays. They use only in a sutal way desaturated. They rarely use artificial light, as they prefer to keep areas darker by forcing the sun and leaving you low or very little light. It also help keep the story dark and focused.
